2011-12: On the 400 medley relay team that currently has the fastest time in the country...Currently holds the fastest times in the country in the 200 breast and the 200 IM and the second-fastest in the 100 back, all recorded at the Texas Invite... Earned a first-place finish in the 500 free and a second-place finish in the 100 back at Arizona State...Recorded first-place finishes in the 200 back and 200 IM and a second-place finish in the 400 medley relay versus No. 2 Texas...Posted first-place finishes in the 400 medley relay and 200 back and a third-place finish in the 400 IM at No. 3 Stanford...Earned first-place finishes in the 400 IM and 200 back and second-place finishes in the 200 medley relay and 200 free at No. 6 California...Finished first in the 200 back and 400 IM and second in the 200 medley relay and the 100 back versus No. 8 USC...Won the 200 back and placed second in the 100 back in his season debut versus Wisconsin.

2009-10: Won his first NCAA individual championship in 200 backstroke with a time of 1:39.29...Won consolation heat of 100 back at NCAA Championships with time of 45.77...Both backstroke times were fastest of any UA swimmer over the year...Placed 12th in 200 I.M. event at NCAA's for second honorable mention nod...Swam on UA's 400 medley relay team that placed sixth overall...Named to Pac-10's All-Academic First Team...Won UA Athletics Male Sophomore of the Year award...Won Pac-10 Swimmer of the Month award for month of January.

2008-09: Was granted a medical redshirt due to a shoulder injury...Named to Pac-10 All-Academic First Team.

2007-08: National runner-up in 200 backstroke event as a freshman at NCAA Championships, setting a then school record time of 1:41.20 in the event...Earned additional All-American honors in the 400 I.M. (7th overall) and 100 backstroke (12th overall) events to help UA to its first ever NCAA championship

International: Swam for Team USA at the World University Games in Shenzhen, China...Was a U.S. Junior National Team Member in 2007 and competed on the Youth World Championships Team in 2006.

Why Arizona? I came to the University of Arizona to receive a great education and be on the greatest swim team in the world. The best part is being able to walk on deck every day with some of the best swimmers and coaches in the world.
