Helped the Cardinals to a runner-up finish at the district meet and a fourth-place finish in the state meet as a senior... Individually, was district champion in both the 200 and 500 free... St. Charles was also runner-up in the Independent Schools for Boys National High School Championship... Set three school records and nine pool records during his time at St. Charles... Comes from a family of swimmers - his father and uncle, Bob Ritter, swam at the University of Cincinnati; his uncle, John Ritter, swam for Miami University (Ohio); another uncle, Ron Flerlage, swam at Eastern Kentucky; and his mother was a high school swimming standout in Kentucky... Considering a degree in engineering because he is interested in science and math... Says he chose the University of Arizona because of "a good engineering school, a great all-around swim program and a beautiful campus."
