Won a national title and broke an American record on the 200 medley relay team at the NCAA Championships...Five-time All-American in his first season at Arizona.

2011-12: Posted a runner-up finish in the 100 Fly and 400 medley relay, a sixth-place finish in the 400 free relay and a 14th-place finish in the 100 free at the NCAA Championships...Named Counsilman Hunsaker Swimmer of the Week on Feb. 15...Posted three NCAA "B" cuts in the 50 free, the 100 free and the 100 fly at the Texas Invite.

2010-11 (Tennessee): Transfer from the University of Tennessee, was an NCAA Qualifier All-American in the 200 and 800 freestyle relays...was named to the All-SEC Freshmen first team.

High School: Five-time All-America ... Four-time McDonogh School record holder ... 14-time Maryland state record holder ... First Baltimore high school swimmer to swim 50 freestyle in less than 21 seconds ... National high school record holder in the 50 freestyle.

Why Arizona: The team atmosphere was greater than any school I had visited. I also wanted to train for one of the world's best sprint coaches, Rick DeMont.
