TUCSON, Ariz. – University of Arizona swimmers and divers are a little less than one month away from their first competition of the 2010-2011 season. 

Since school resumed in August, head coach Frank Busch and staff have conducted dryland workouts in addition to regular in-the-water training to get the new team into peak condition.

Both men’s and women’s teams feature of plethora of new faces this season and have been learning the many types of dryland intervals that have become crucial to Coach Busch’s program.

The program gets its 2010-2011 season under way with a relay meet on Oct. 15 with Arizona State, Kansas and UNLV.  Following the relay meet format, all four teams will participate in a traditional meet on Oct. 16 beginning at 1 p.m.
