TUCSON, Ariz. -
Senior Ben Grado (Conifer, Colo.) and sophomore Samantha Pickens (Murrysville, Pa.) each earned a top-four finish in their respective events on day two of the Wildcat Diving Invite at Hillenbrand Aquatic Center.
Grado posted a third-place finish on the men’s 3m and Pickens earned a fourth-place finish on the women’s 1m.
In the consolation final, three divers placed in the men’s 3m as senior Andres Guerra (Sugarland, Texas) finished in third, freshman Josh Bidak (Phoenix, Ariz.) finished in fifth and sophomore Sean Clark (Phoenix, Ariz.) finished in a tie for sixth.
Senior Ainsley Oliver (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) finished in second in the women’s 1m consolation final.
The Wildcats will return to the pool for the final day of the Wildcat Invite, with competition beginning at 11 a.m.
