Received MVP honors in many Romanian tournaments...Won 5 National singles titles, 4 National Championships in doubles, 3 National Championships in Mixed Doubles , one second place in singles and one second place in doubles... Won the 14 and under division of the European Championship for Development in ESTONIA Balkan Championships with the Romanian Team... Named best player in Romania in his age group from 2002 to 2010 and was named a member of the Official Romanian Team by Romanian Tennis Federation... Named most valuable multi-sport athlete by high school... Also competed in handball where he was named MVP of Braila in 2010 and 2011

PERSONAL: Was born Sebastian Alexandru Ionescu on March 14, 1992 to Adrian and Paula Ionescu in Craiova, Romania... Enjoys meeting new people and hopes to find time to work for some extra money.

I CHOSE ARIZONA BECAUSE... I heard it's a great university, academically and for tennis. I hear the tennis coach it's a great man, so that was another interesting point.
