LOS ANGELES (AP) - Jessica Cheeks made a 3-pointer with just under a minute remaining and hit two free throws with 13.8 seconds left Sunday to help Southern California beat No. 24 Arizona 68-66 Sunday for the Wildcats' second straight loss.

UCLA beat Arizona 87-68 Thursday night at Pauley Pavilion.

Cheeks came off the bench to lead the Trojans with 15 points and three steals. She didn't miss a shot, making three 3-pointers along with two field goals from inside the arc, as well as two foul shots.

Ebony Hoffman had 12 points, and Rometra Craig added 11 for the Trojans (14-9, 11-4 Pac-10).

Dee-Dee Wheeler led Arizona (18-7, 10-4) with 20 points. Natalie Jones scored 18 points, and Shawntinice Polk had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Wildcats before fouling out with nine minutes left.

Arizona lost despite shooting 56 percent (28-of-50) and outrebounding USC 36-28. The Trojans shot 39.3 percent but forced 28 turnovers while committing 18.

Cheeks' final 3-pointer gave the Trojans a 64-60 lead. The Wildcats made it close on Wheeler's 3-pointer as time expired. It was Arizona's only 3-pointer of the game in four attempts.

USC was 7-of-19 from beyond the arc.
