Shawntinice Polk passed away suddenly on Sept. 26, 2005, at the age of 22.

The Shawntinice Polk Endowment was established to honor Polk's impact on women's basketball at Arizona. In "Polkey's" honor, this scholarship will be awarded annually to a University of Arizona student-athlete.

Shawntinice Polk Wristbands

Wristbands honoring Polk are on sale at the McKale Center Ticket Office. Wristbands sell for $2.00 with all proceeds benefiting the Shawntinice Polk Endowment.
