"We allowed a lot of points off transitions and that's one thing we don't want to allow. We pride ourselves on our transition defense but that is the style of foreign teams. We'll make adjustments in practice and will be alright."

"Everybody had great spirits out on the court on offense and defense. We had some mental lapses on the court but that'll happen this early in the season."

"This year our post players are much more aggressive and we have a lot more confidence in giving them the ball. We know that they will make great decisions when we give them the ball. Coach Lloyd has done a great job with them."

On team depth:

"We are a legitimate 11 deep team and it is going to be to our advantage this year being able to consistently have fresh bodies out on the court."

"Being back out on the court was exciting. This game was a good way to start out the season. It is a good step to where we want to be at the end of the year."

"Our goal tonight was to try and get their post players in foul trouble and we succeeded. Our posts made some excellent decisions and did a great job putting the ball in the basket."
