Arizona women's basketball will hit the road for the second time in two weeks, this time to take on UNLV in Las Vegas, Nevada on Tuesday, Nov. 13. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. PT.

The Running Rebels return one starter from the 2011-12 season in senior Kelli Thompson (14.3 ppg, 3.3 rpg) and welcome nine newcomers to the squad. They went 22-10 in the 2011-12 season, including a 12-5 mark at home.

The two teams last met in 2011, when the Wildcats defeated UNLV, 62-58, behind then-junior Davellyn Whyte's 21 points and four assists. UNLV's Thompson had eight points and five rebounds in the contest.

UA women's basketball heads into conference action with an 11-1 record, the best start since the 1999-2000 season.

Arizona leads the all-time series dating back to 1975, 4-3, with a 1-3 mark in Las Vegas.

The Wildcats are coming off a victorious season opener in which they defeated CSU Bakersfield, 71-50. Four players scored in double-digits, led by Whyte's 16.

Junior Erica Barnes led the team in rebounding with 12, accounting for a 62-41 rebounding deficit over the Roadrunners.

Arizona women's basketball games can be heard live on KTUC AM 1400. All broadcasts will start 15 minutes prior to tip-off for the pregame show.
