Frosh Leads Cats to Sixth at Betsy Rawls

The fall season concluded with today's round and this week's event. Arizona will open the spring portion of the season with the hosting of the Wildcat Invitational, Feb. 5-7, at the Golf Club at Vistoso.

2010-11 (Freshman): Competed in seven events and 18 rounds during her freshman year ... Shot an average of 76.66 strokes per round ... Had three top-10 finishes and one top-20 finish ... Her lowest round score for the year was a 67 and her lowest tournament score for the year was a 215 (-1 ) ... Played eight of her 18 rounds at or under par ... Carded a 149 (+5) in her first collegiate tournament, the Hilton Garden Inn Mountain Shoot Out, and finished second, shooting a 77 in the first round and a 72 in the second round ... At the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, she shot a 230 for the tournament ... Playing as an individual, she finished fifth at the Wildcat Invitational by firing a career low 67 in the second round and finished with a 215 (-1) ... Shot a 224 (+8) at the Bruin/Wave Invitational, helping the Wildcats finish second ... In a match against ASU and New Mexico, Andreas took second overall shooting a 71 (-1).

High School: At Pacific Grove High School, she earned five varsity letters, four in golf and one in swimming ... Playing for Coach Craig Bellar, she was first-team MTAL All-League all four years of high school ... She was also on the honor roll all four years ... She played golf with Bernhard Langer and Clint Eastwood in the Wal-Mart 1st Tee Open ... Caddied for Kenny G at the AT&T National Pro AM.
