TUCSON - The University of Arizona Wildcat women's golf team will continue the spring season with the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational, hosted by Hawaii. Held at Kane'ohe Klipper Golf Course in Kane'ohe, O'ahu, competition will take place Tues.-Wed., March 12-3. Two rounds will be played Tuesday and one round Wednesday with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. HT/11 a.m. MT. Kane'ohe Klipper Golf Course is a par 72, 6,139-yard course.

Sophomores Patricia Garcia, Manon Gidali, Kendall Prince and Andrea Vilarasau and freshman Janie Jackson will play for the Arizona team this weekend. Freshman Anna Kim will be playing as an individual. Gidali is ranked No. 42 individually with Prince ranked No. 44 by Golfweek/Sagarin (3/7/13).

No. 7 Arizona, Central Connecticut, Gonzaga, Hawaii, UH-Hilo, Idaho, Illinois State, New Mexico, Lipscomb, Louisville, Ohio State, Ole Miss, San Francisco, Seattle, UTEP and Washington State will play in Kane'ohe, O'ahu this weekend. (Rankings according to golfstat.com 3/6/13)

Last time out, paced by Jackson's fourth-place finish, the Wildcats turned in a bronze showing at the Bruin/Wave Invitational. UA recorded rounds of 305, 294 and 297 for their best finish of the spring and their highest finish October. Jackson paced Arizona with a fourth-place finish, her best as a collegian. She fired rounds of 78, 68 and 74 for a three-round score of 220 (+4).
