Hey GymCat fans!

The team has been working extremely hard in the gym and we’re all excited for season to be here! We had team beam about a week ago – and went nine for nine. That was awesome and gave the beam team so much confidence for the upcoming season. We also had a total of 10 girls successfully complete a full floor routine, which is really something considering it is only the beginning of November. The way we have been practicing and the full sets have put us so far ahead, which is really exciting since season is still about two more months away.

We have our first official intrasquad today and we will be competing floor, bars, and beam. It should be a great opportunity to watch our team perform and show the judges what were capable of this early in the year. It is also the freshman’s first chance to salute as a Gymcat, which will also be really fun to watch.

With the progress we are all making in the gym and the competitive drive throughout the team, I am extremely confident that we are going to have an amazing season this year. Make sure to mark your calendars for the Gymcat’s first home meet on Saturday, January 12^th at 4 pm!
