Senior forward Kristin Strother was named to the 2012 Pac-12 Women's Soccer All-Academic First Team for the third year in a row. Nine other Wildcats were named to the All-Academic Honorable Mention list.

The Arizona women's soccer team picked up its third win of the season against the University of Houston in a 2-1 victory at the Sun Devil Desert Classic in Tempe, Ariz.
2011: Played and started in all 19 matches after battling illness in the 2010 season... Logged a total of 1,706 minutes... Had one assist, six shots, and one goal throughout the season... Scored the winning goal against Oregon off a penalty kick giving the Wildcats their first and only win of the season.
2010: Played in only 12 games and made eight starts after battling an illness that forced her to miss entire month of September ... Provided stability to UA's defense in final half of season with return to starting lineup ... Played 853 minutes on the year ... Had seven shot attempts on the season ... Played all 99 minutes in UA's 1-0 shutout victory over California (Oct. 22) ... Played 90 minutes or more in last six games of the season.
2009: Proved to be one of Arizona's best defenders as a freshman, starting 19 games in the back ... Named to CS360's Primetime Performers of the Week for Oct. 19-25 for her game-winning performance against ASU ... Buried a bicycle kick in the back of the net in the 106th minute off a corner kick to defeat the Sun Devils in double-overtime ... The goal was the first of her career and only of the season ... She was the only defender to score a goal all year for the Cats ... Registered four shots on the year, three of which were on goal ... Her .750 shot-on-goal percentage was best on the team ... Asserted herself in preseason camp and developed into one of most consistent players on team.
Prep: Attended Western Canada High School in Calgary, Canada ... One of two players in class with international experience ... Participated in track and field at Western Canada where she ran the 400, 800, hurdles and 4x400-meter relay ... Placed fifth in 400 meters in Alberta ... Came in third in the 800 meters in Calgary ... Led club team to back-to-back national championships in 2007 and 2008 ... Started right back for Team Canada in the 2008 U-17 Women's World Cup in New Zealand ... Participated in CONCACAF in 2008 for Canada and qualified for the World Cup, coming in third.
