TUCSON, Ariz. – University of Arizona Wildcat women’s soccer team earned Academic Award honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for posting a team grade point average of 3.35.

To be eligible for the NSCAA Team Academic Award, a team must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Arizona was one of 497 women’s programs to be recognized.

For the 2012 season, the Wildcats had an overall record of 6-11-3 and went 2-7-2 in Pac-12 Conference play.
