TUCSON, Ariz. - Junior forward Jazmin Ponce was named to the Second Team for the 2012 NSCAA Women's Division I All-Pacific team along with 23 other players in the Pac-12.

Ponce was also named to the Pac-12 All-Conference First Team and recognized by College Sports Madness earning all Pac-12 Second Team honors. On the season, the Lawndale, Calif. native recorded a total of 85 shot attempts, two assists and eight goals. Earning 19 starts in 20 games and logging a total of 1,769 minutes, Ponce led the Pac-12 in number of shots taken for seven weeks in a row.

For the 2012 season, the Wildcats posted a 6-11-3 overall record, and went 2-7-2 in Pac-12 Conference play.
