A former men's fastpitch softball player and assistant coach in Tucson for the past six years, Mark Blair joined the staff in August 2012 as the team's volunteer assistant coach.

Blair brings over 40 years of experience pitching at the top levels of men's fastpitch softball in El Paso, Tex. and Tucson to the team. Blair will throw batting practice as well as assist the pitching staff and the outfield.

Blair spent 2007-10 as an assistant at Flowing Wells High School in Tucson and served as an assitant under Armando Quiroz at Pima from 2010-12.

In 1975, Blair graduated from Texas El Paso with a degree in physical education and in 1993, Blair received his Master's in counseling from University of Phoenix.

Blair was born in Woodbury, N.J. in April of 1951.
