Current Cats Square off With Former Cats on Friday

Former Wildcats from the past four decades will take the field in a competition against the 2013 team

TUCSON - University of Arizona Wildcat Softball wraps up the fall season with against a team of Wildcat Alumni, Friday, Nov. 9 at 8:30 p.m. MST at Hillenbrand Stadium.

A ceremony honoring the 1993 National Championship team will precede the game and Arizona Deputy Athletics Director and former Wildcat softball player Rocky LaRose will be recognized in a mid-inning ceremony.

Confirmed guests to the homecoming event include 47 former players, managers and coaches, with additional confirmations still pending. Softball Ends Fall Classic with Sweep
University of Arizona Wildcat Softball swept the third and final day of the Arizona Fall Classic with wins over Cypress (10-2, five innings) and Pima (6-1). The Cats were a perfect 5-0 in the Arizona Fall Classic and are 7-0 overall in the fall.

Admission to the event will be free with seating on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking will be free in the lots surrounding Hillenbrand Stadium.
