Rhoades Named to Pac-12 All-Academic Team

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona sophomore middle blocker Rachel Rhoades (San Diego, Calif.) was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention team, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Rhoades owns a cumulative 3.68 GPA in psychology. On the court this season, she has posted 121 kills on .342 hitting to go along with 82 blocks and 37 digs. The .342 hitting percentage ranks second on the squad, while her 82 blocks are third on the team.

To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum of a 3.0 overall grade point average and either be a starter or a significant contributor.

The Wildcats take on Washington State tonight at 8:00 p.m. (PT). Arizona will then close out the regular season at Arizona State on Friday.
