Most memorable swimming moment: My most memorable swim moment happened the summer after I had mono. I had been out of the pool for 3 months and hadn't had much energy to do anything. I trained for maybe a month and a half before the season's taper meet. My performance was nowhere near where I wanted it to be, but I realized that nothing I wanted would happen without devoting myself to swimming. Since then, I have pushed myself to be where I want to be in this sport, and I'm happy where this outlook has taken me.

What are you looking forward to this 2009-2010 season?: For this upcoming season, I am very excited to experience the collegiate level of swimming. The fact that everyone wants to swim and achieve their goals definitely motivates me. Mostly I'm looking forward to being a Wildcat!

What stood out to you about the University of Arizona? Living in Tucson and being on deck with the U of A swimmers, I noticed many exceptional qualities. They showed how close the team was and how they all motivated each other in and out of the water to be the best they could when it came time to race.
