Grado, Pickens Advance to Finals at Olympic Trials

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -

Senior Ben Grado (Conifer, Colo.) and sophomore Samantha Pickens (Murrysville, Pa.) both advanced to the final round at the Olympic Trials in Federal Way, Wash. on Tuesday.

Grado finished in 10th-place on the platform with a score of 743.85, while Pickens finished in ninth-place on the 3-meter with a score of 570.

The two highest finishers will advance to the Olympic Games in London, England.

The event continues on Wednesday with the men’s 3-meter and women’s 10-meter. The men’s 10-meter finals will take place on Saturday, June 23 from 4-6 p.m. ET and the women’s 3-meter finals will be shown on Sunday, June 24 from 3-6 p.m. ET.
