Coach Maes' Take: "There are few players in college tennis who live and breathe the game the way Lacey does. It is her intensity and her will to prepare that have helped her improve so much over the course of two years. At the same time, I feel strongly she hasn't reached her full potential yet. She is a joy to watch and a joy to coach and, even though a lot of responsibility rests on her shoulders at that top position, she handles herself very well under the most stressful situations."
