FINAL BRACKETS
Arizona women’s tennis sophomores Hailey Johnson (San Diego, Calf.) and Laura Oldham (Sheffield, England) wrapped up a successful Falcon Fall Invitational on Sunday in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Oldham concluded the event with a win over Air Force’s Christine Molina in straight sets to win the consolation bracket in her flight.
Johnson fell to Texas Tech’s Sandra Dynka in the semifinals of the winner’s bracket in her flight.
"Overall this was a good performance for Hailey and Laura,” Arizona head coach Vicky Maes said. “We saw improvement throughout the weekend and we got some good singles wins. It's helpful to see where we are in match play, so we can work on those areas we struggled with the most.”
The Wildcats will be back in action on Thursday, Oct. 18 through Sunday, Oct. 21 at the ITA Regionals in San Diego, Calif.
