TUCSON, Ariz. -
Five Arizona women’s tennis players were selected to the 2012 Pac-12 All-Academic team, Commissioner Larry Scott announced on Thursday.
Senior Sarah Landsman (Syosset, N.Y.) and sophomore Lacey Smyth (Oceanside, Calif.) led the team with first-team accolades, sophomores Susan Mc Rann (Dublin, Ireland) and Kim Stubbe (Mol, Belgium) earned second-team honors and senior Debora Castany (Barcelona, Spain) was named honorable mention.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average and be a significant contributor to the team.
