SAN DIEGO, Calif. -

Arizona women’s tennis will travel to San Diego, Calif. on Thursday, Oct. 18 to compete in the southwest  ITA Regional Championships. The tournament will begin on Thursday and continue through Sunday, Oct. 21.

Each member of the 2012-13 women’s tennis squad will compete in both singles and doubles, except junior Lacey Smyth (Oceanside, Calif.), who will only compete in doubles play.

The Championships feature some of the top men's and women's players across the country. Over 8,000 student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, Junior and Community Colleges compete at one of the 87 USTA/ITA Regional Championships held across the country.
