JUNIOR COLLEGE
Transferred from San Francisco State University to Orange Coast College, Costa Mesa, Calif. after one semester. While at OCC received AA degree in 3 semesters. Competed on the soccer and track and field teams. Track and Field awards include, rookie of the year (2009) MVP (2010) Broke a 20 year old school record in the Heptathlon with 4550 pts then again with a score of 4949 pts. Was the state leader and ranked No.2 in the nation for the Heptathlon. Was named Orange Coast College Female Athlete of the Year for 2010.
HIGH SCHOOL
Cypress High School, Cypress, Calif.:Three sport athlete. Sports included Volleyball, Soccer, and Track and Field. As a freshman in 2005 set the All-Time Orange County frosh/soph 300m L.H. record (46.03) also set the school record for the 300m L.H. (45.9) was awarded MVP of the varsity team. Other awards include a school record in the 100m hurdles (15.72) and in the 4x100 (48.18) As a middle blocker senior year helped lead the volleyball team to win its first CIF Championship Title in school history. Awarded All-League and first team All-CIF honors.

Liana Fuentes...Born April 6th1990 to Henrietta and Albert Fuentes. Has three older siblings, Joseph, Serena, and Halaiano.Enjoys vacationing at the river, waterskiing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, hiking and playing futsol.Majoring in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy, at Arizona. Plans to become a Psychiatrist or Sports Psychologist.
