Perkins returns with great expectations... Will play a big role for the Wildcats at the conference and national levels... 2003 (Freshman): Had an outstanding freshman season... Had team and season's best times of 23.90 seconds in the 200 meters and 52.49 seconds in the 400 meters... Member of both relay squads... Winner of the 2003 Most Inspirational Award... Battled injury during the 2003 season, but managed to place second at the USA Junior Nationals in the 400 meters with a new personal best time of 52.06 seconds... Member of the USA Junior Pan Am Games team, where she won a silver medal in the 400 meters and was a member of the gold medal-winning 4x400m relay team.

Earned four varsity letters in track and field... Acted as team captain for two years... Named the team's most valuable athlete for two years...
