TUCSON, Ariz. - Members of the University of Arizona soccer and volleyball teams traveled throughout the city of Tucson to deliver season tickets to many of their loyal fans on Monday evening.

Five members of the soccer team and six members of the volleyball squad delivered tickets and spent time talking about the upcoming season with their fans. In addition, the student-athletes took photos and signed autographs for their dedicated supporters.

The UA soccer team gets the home portion of their schedule underway on Thursday night against BYU from Murphey Field at Mulcahy Soccer Stadium. The match is set for a 7 p.m. start. Meanwhile, the volleyball team will open the 2012 campaign at home for the Wildcat Classic. The Wildcats will host Evansville, Cal State Northridge and Utah Valley for the two-day tournament. UA will open the event against Evansville on Friday at 10:30 a.m. inside McKale Center.
