LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Following her stellar play in the Sheraton Riverside Cardinal Classic, junior Tiffany Owens was named MVP of the tournament.

Outside hitter Dana Hutchinson and setter Paige Weber also garnered `All-Tournament' selections as Arizona went 3-0 and was named tournament champions.

Owens paced the Cats with 39 kills, 28 digs while hitting .344.  Against Pittsburgh on Aug. 29, Owens was particularly impressive in leading Arizona to the win.  She tallied 17 kills and 14 digs while hitting .368.

The Wildcats now head home to Tucson for prepartion before the annual Wildcat Classic.  On Friday morning, the team will take on Nevada before coming back at 7 p.m. to face Houston.  Then at 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoon before football's home opener, volleyball will play Eastern Washington.
