Catalina Magnet High School, Tucson, Ariz.: One of the main reasons for Catalina's rise to the top in cross country over the past couple years...McGrath helped lead the team to the 4A-II State Championship in 2007 during her sophomore year, finishing third place individually..In the same season, McGrath won the 800-meter state crown...Voted first-team cross country and track that year...During her senior year, McGrath took fifth at the state cross country championship and finished second in the 800-meters at the state meet...Was the only Tucson athlete to be named to first team honors in both the 800- and 1600-meters...Served as the co-captain of the Catalina squad with fellow incoming freshman Magda Mankel...Voted the track team's MVP her senior year...
