Arizona Allegiance is the recognized Honorary by the University of Arizona Athletics Department. Our members are defined by their endless pride and enthusiasm for Wildcat Athletics and UA traditions! Allegiance members are members of the ZonaZoo and the Student Wildcat Club and attend sporting events in the traditional garb worn by its members (white shirt, tie and khakis). At football games Allegiance members proudly and respectfully hold the "Bear Down" banner for the team to run through on the field!
Throughout the year we attend as many sporting events as possible and are responsible for promoting and marketing the Student Wildcat Club. The Student Wildcat Club is the student fund-raising arm of Arizona Athletics. The Wildcat Club membership helps support the Athletics Department's fund-raising efforts and those who participate also receive special recognition for their support; for example, early ZonaZoo registration, priority seating, and membership card.
In addition, we have countless socials, tailgates, other athletic events, fun weekly meetings, possible road trips to games and much more! We are charged with promoting spirit and involvement among students and pride ourselves in keeping UA traditions alive with positive sportsmanship!
The success of Arizona Allegiance rests solely upon the dedication and loyalty of its members. Before applying, we hope that anyone seeking membership evaluates this as a serious commitment. If you make this commitment, it requires: organization, sales ability, spirit, enthusiasm, sportsmanship and attendance. If you believe you can do just that and that you have what it takes, we strongly encourage you to apply for the chance to wear the Arizona Allegiance Honorary tie.
Members must be full-time students with a minimum GPA of 2.75. You must be considered a die-hard Wildcat fan, a UA trivia genius and truly bleed RED and BLUE!
