PRIOR TO ARIZONA
·      Ranked as the No. 8 overall recruit in the country
·      In July 2025, helped USA Basketball U19 Junior National Team win the 2025 FIBA U19 World Cup in Switzerland, averaging 12 points and seven rebounds
·      In winning the gold at the U19 World Cup, he becomes the first player from any country two in three FIBA junior World Cup gold medals
·      Played all four years of high school basketball at Gilbert Perry High School near Phoenix
·      Helped Perry win the state championship four straight years
·      Playing with a broken hand, Peat scored 16 points in the semifinal game of the state tournament and then dropped 20 points in the title game
·      Joins classmate Brayden Burries as the 31st and 32nd McDonald’s All-Americans to play at Arizona
·      Has also won three gold medals with USA Basketball: 2022 FIBA U17 World Cup, 2023 FIBA Americas U16 Championship and 2024 FIBA U17 World Cup
·      Named 2023 USA Basketball Male Player of the Year
·      Member of the 2025 USA Nike Hoop Summit team
·      Earned Gatorade Player of the Year honors for the state of Arizona each of his final three years of high school
·      As a senior, he put up nearly 19 points, 10 rebounds and five assists per game and led Perry to a 27-2 record
·      Played for the Compton Magic on the adidas 3SSB circuit, where he averaged 20 points and eight rebounds
·      Parents are Todd Sr. And Jana Peat, and he is the youngest of seven children
·      His father, Todd Sr., was an All-American at Northern Illinois and went on to a 6-year NFL career as an offensive lineman with the Cardinals and Raiders
·      His mother, Jana, played basketball, volleyball and softball in high school
·      Oldest brother, Todd Jr., played football at Nebraska, Eastern Arizona College and Texas A&M-Commerce
·      Older brother, Andrus, played football at Stanford and is a 10-year veteran in the NFL
·      Another brother, Cassius, had stops on the gridiron at Michigan State, Pima Community College, Scottsdale Community College and the University of Virginia
·      Sister, Leilani, played basketball at Seattle University and University of San Francisco
·      Sister, Maya, played college basketball at Arkansas – Pine Bluff and Texas Tech
·      Brother, Keona, is currently a member of the football team at Arizona 
·      His mother is a native Hawaiian, the name “Koa” is Hawiian and means “strong warrior”
