Tucson, Ariz. -  The Arizona men's tennis team is headed to California to compete in the San Diego Invitational, their last fall tournament of the season. The four-team, three-day competition begins on Friday, Oct. 28 and will feature eight Wildcats: seniors Harry Busby, Will Kneale, and Oliver Plaskett, juniors Shoki Kasahara and Trent Botha, sophomores Will Adkisson and Shoti Meparidze, and freshman Alejandro Reguant.
 
"Two of the teams we are playing are teams that we will face later on in the year so we will get a good indicator of where we are," said head coach Clancy Shields. "At the same time, having all eight guys going on a road trip and playing at the same site is a very powerful thing to have in the fall because they get the chance to experience each other's energy. We are still looking for guys to emerge on our roster. We want to see who is going to step up and earn their spot on the team. This is another opportunity for our players to prove to coach Alex Emory and myself that they are one of our top six players and they are worthy of playing time."
 
Play will begin at 9 a.m. MST on Friday and 9:30 a.m. MST on Saturday and Sunday. Draws are not yet completed for this tournament, but will be made available on match day HERE and will be tweeted @ArizonaMTennis.
