The University of Arizona women's golf team completed the first two rounds of play on Monday at the Windy City Collegiate in Golf, Ill. at Glen View Club. The Wildcats are currently at 7-over-par for the tournament and in a tie for 8
th place. Georgia leads the team tournament at 12-under-par, Bailey Tardy of Georgia leads the individual tournament at -9.
"We had a solid round one, led by Krystal, Haley, Sandra and Wanasa," said coach
Laura Ianello. "We struggled with our short game during round two which set us back from the lead. We are confident that we can make up some ground tomorrow in the final round."
Sophomore
Haley Moore currently sits in a tie for 13
th place at -1 with rounds of 71, and 72. Junior
Krystal Quihuis carded scores of 70, and 74 putting her in a tie for 17
th place at 2-over-par. Senior
Wanasa Zhou is 3-over-par for the tournament and in a tie for 32
nd place after posting scores of 72, and 75. Freshman
Sandra Nordaas sits in a tie for 46
th place after rounds of 72, and 77. Senior
Jessica Vasilic had rounds of 83, and 77. Â
